I'm D-O-N-E

I'm not really sure that the feeling has completely sunk in yet. I'm really done. Like, I'm really really done. For good. Done. I just keep reminding myself of that over and over again. Maybe it will sink in Sunday at graduation, or maybe it won't sink in until next September when everyone else has started their semester and I'm still just working. Either way, I'm officially done NOW. No more stressing over exams, no more trying to remember deadlines for 5 classes at a time, and no more cramming during finals week. It feels so good to have that weight lifted off my shoulders. Thank you to everyone that has prayed for me, and thank you to everyone that has left encouraging comments on all my posts about college.

  5. Okay that picture/action thing is AWESOME! Congrats on being done with school! It REALLY is the best feeling ever, yet so bittersweet! I STILL don't feel like I have graduated... It's like I'm on a little break and will be heading back at some point but it is SO nice to have your evenings to yourself with no studying, cramming, or stressing about finals. So welcome to this side of the world, Sister! It's a great one :)

I have loved keeping up with your blog! You do an AWESOME job with it!

    Happy Graduation Weekend!

  9. It took a few weeks for me for it all to "sink in" that I was graduated :) I've been teaching for a year, but it still didn't sink in until my husband graduated this April and we are moving away from our college town.

  10. congratulations on being done! it is sort of weird, in that year after you graduate...at least for me, i felt like i should be going back to school in the fall. you sort of miss getting dressed up for class, feeling collegiate, coffee breaks, walking around campus...but you know what? it's great to regain some of your life : ] xo.

  18. I would love to see what you wore/ suggest wearing under a graduation gown! I have a college graduation coming up soon, and I am stumped...cute black dress, or something way fun! I would love some ideas, love your style girl! And congrats on graduation!

    1. First of all, thank you SO much, I'm so glad to be done. If you want to see what I wore under my gown for grad pictures, you can check out this post...

It looks like a skirt and blouse, but it's a dress. For my actual graduation I actually ended up wearing a neon green dress (bright and springy!) just because it had pockets and I needed that cell phone! :)

Any color dress works in my opinion, you might want to make sure it doesn't clash with your gown, but if you have a blue gown, don't be afraid to wear a red dress! Try color blocking just like you would an everyday outfit! Also, many girls wear dresses but don't forget you can rock a skirt + blouse combo just as well! And wedges are awesome if you're going to be standing a lot. :)

      Hope this helps!
